Vem ai mais um filme sobre artes marciais e que terá Bruce Lee como figura principal...È meus amigos, mais um, com o título de The Birth of Dragon.
Nesta nova película, a ideia central da história irá focar no tão famoso desafio entre Lee e Wong Jack Man.
Eu gostaria de saber o que raios passa na cabeça desses produtores cinematográficos, quando eles pegam histórias bem legais, como essa, e as transformam em filmes péssimos! A tendência é sempre essa!!
Não tem muito dessa de dizer que ''cinema é entretenimento'', e que ''deve ser assim ou assado para atrair público'', etc, etc, Eles estragam a história por completo!!! Um exemplo prático do que eu falo; O primeiro filme da trilogia Ip Man; Maravilhoso, o roteiro é muito bom e as lutas são bem divertidas sem serem piegas para um filme chinês. Do segundo filme em diante todos ficaram péssimos,  apenas The Grandmasters conseguiu se tornar o melhor filme com Ip man como personagem...ME parece que acaba havendo um desgaste de tanto ser usual colocar diferentes histórias para um mesmo personagem ou tema...Enfim...

Voltando ao novo filme de (sobre na verdade)  Bruce Lee, a ideia seria manter o foco na época em que Lee estava se consolidando como professor de artes marciais nos Estados Unidos e como ocorreu o desafio proposto pela comunidade marcial ao enviar Wong Jack Man para combater com Bruce. Segundo os relatos de quem presenciou o embate, Lee venceu Wong com pouco mais de 3 minutos do primeiro round, marcado para ser uma luta sem regras. O embate aconteceu devido a comunidade marcial chinesa nos Estados Unidos não aprovar o fato de que Bruce estaria ensinando seu Kung Fu aos não-chineses.
A luta também teria sido o estopim para que Lee modificasse completamente seu método e seu treinamento, o que viria a ser mais tarde o embrionário de sua técnica chamada Jeet Kune Do.



O problema começa pela forma como tudo está sendo - pelo menos no trailer - ambientado . Nada remete á Seattle dos anos 60,começo dos 70... E ai algumas dicas já foram dadas nesse mesmo trailer; Wong será retratado como um monge ( Pasmem!!!!) Shao Lin em busca de redenção...e por ai vai....

Só nos resta esperar pra ver....
