Antes de irmos para as notícias propriamente gostaria de fazer um esclarecimento, devido á alguns comentários nos bastidores após as ultimas postagens autorais. Talvez seja algo redundante mas nesse ponto, gostaria de fazer esse esclarecimento;

Nosso núcleo de treinamento em Wing Chun Kung Fu em Recife é ligado diretamente a Sede nacional da Brazilian Wing Chun Academy (foto), localizada em Salvador, liderada por meu SiFu, o conhecido nacionalmente SiFu Marcos de Abreu, sendo este o único núcleo em Recife ligado á sua escola e o único mestre á qual nos reportamos. Sendo assim, não há em absoluta hipótese, qualquer organização, associação, mestre ou instrutor em todo o estado de Pernambuco á qual nos reportamos ou que seguimos suas diretrizes, se não as da Brazilian Wing Chun Academy. Qualquer outra organização, associação, pessoa ou o que for que afirme  o contrário, está correndo em falso e estará sujeito ás providências cabíveis.

- O Dido também foi nomeado secretário geral para o novo corpo diretor da ''Federação Pernambucana de Kung Fu Wushu'', cujo o presidente Eduardo Souza e sua Vice, Juliana Fazio venceram as ultimas eleições ocorridas no ultimo semestre do ano passado. Nossa esperança é poder contribuir para o andamento da Federação da melhor forma possível.

- Essa é uma boa notícia para toda a família Wing Chun. Diego Reis ( na foto aplicando Lan Gurk), discípulo do SiFu Marcelo Florentino venceu mais uma lua no MMA. Desde o ano passado, Diego vem fazendo lutas e sendo um destaque em seu card, principalmente pelo fato de representar a arte do Wing Chun. Parabéns ao Diego e ao Sibaak Marcelo por mais essa conquista!

- Continuando as homenagens ao SiGung Li Hon Ki, Sibaakgung Li Wing Kay noticiou em sua página no facebook que no próximo dia 1, haverá a missa de 30 dias do falecimento de seu irmão mais novo e introdutor oficial dos estilos Hung Gar e Wing Chun na américa Latina. A missa ocorrerá na paróquia Santuário São Judas, em SP, ás 20hs.

Especial ; Sigung Li Hon Ki

Esta postagem de hoje é realmente especial. Trata-se de homenagem para aquele que foi sem dúvida nenhuma, um dos nomes mais importantes para que o Kung Fu no Brasil fosse o que é hoje; uma arte consolidada como uma das mais fortes em toda a américa latina.  Iremos falar um pouco sobre meu SiGung, Li Hon Ki, introdutor oficial dos estilos Wing Chun e Hung Kuen no Brasil, que faleceu no ultimo dia 02, deixando uma imensa família kung fu, uma imensa família kung fu e o legado de uma lenda.

 Faremos de forma bem simples até, pois por mais que tentemos honrar a memória de uma pessoa tão importante, e este blog sendo tão tosco como é, com total certeza, não estaremos homenageando á altura que ele merece. Mas tentarei fazer aqui o meu melhor. Por isso, convido você, amigo leitor á memorar a trajetória deste que foi um verdadeiro ícone para as artes marciais chinesas na América Latina.

 Gostaria de começar, entretanto,  dizendo que durante a ultima semana, várias escolas postaram suas condolências e seus respeitos á este que foi uma lenda do kung fu no Brasil. Com seu falecimento, sai de cena o homem e surge o mito!

Eu confesso vergonhosamente que não tinha a real noção da importância que meu SiGung tem e do quanto ele é respeitado. Uso o verbo no presente pois seu nome continua sendo respeitado e será sempre respeitado, como tenho percebido nesses últimos dias. Na noite em que recebi a notícia de seu falecimento, meu telefone não parou de tocar! Recebi ligações inclusive de outros países, como E.U.A, Grécia e Hong Kong, da comunidade  wing chun nacional e internacional,  todos consternados com sua repentina partida.

Eu me perguntava '' Como não havia percebido tal relevância antes?''. Quer dizer, todos nós sabíamos de sua grande contribuição para as artes marciais tradicionais chinesas  (AMTC), mas eu realmente não esperava que tantas e tantas pessoas ao redor do mundo pudessem sentir tanto.

Mestres de outras escolas e de outros estilos de kung fu homenagearam-no com belos e concisos textos, mensagens e vídeos pela internet. Mas talvez as homenagens mais relevantes tenham sido aquelas que pouco apareceram na dita '' grande mídia'', mas que foram de coração. Por exemplo;  A seletiva para o mundial de Tai Chi fez um minuto de silêncio antes de começar suas atividades durante este fim de semana, em São Paulo. Já a nossa escola, tanto a escola Sede em Salvador quanto nosso núcleo em Recife fechou por 3 dias.  Houve cerimônia antes de SiFu reabrir a escola e aqui em Recife, fizemos um treino especial, dedicado á sua memória, também iniciando com um pequeno discurso.

 Várias outras escolas de kung fu em vários estados do Brasil também prestaram respeito e luto pelo Mestre Kay, como também era conhecido. Registro aqui nosso muito obrigado e um obrigado especial ao ShiFu Marco Antônio Seschi e ao ShiFu Nelson, que perdeu um querido Si Hing recentemente.

Por isso,  essa postagem é mais que especial, para honrar e respeitar a memória daquele que foi o responsável pela difusão das artes marciais chinesas e terapias orientais no Brasil e na América Latina, não lamentando sua morte, mas memorando suas conquistas, relembrando sua figura, que de acordo com SiFu , era uma pessoa reservada, que pouco aparecia, mas ao mesmo tempo transitava entre uma pessoa de bom humor;  As vezes calado demais, as vezes bom conversador, mas sempre uma figura bastante querida... E o mais legal;  Com um kung fu dos mais fortes já vistos! Acho que ele aprovaria por ser lembrado assim....

SiGung Li Hon Ki nasceu em 02 de fevereiro de 1952, em Hong Kong. Filho de Li Kan Man e To Sin Mui, seu interesse pelas artes marciais, assim como de seu irmão Sibaakgung Li Wing Kay,  começou bem cedo. ainda na adolescência.

Começou também muito cedo á trabalhar na indústria do cinema chinês, participando como dublê em vários filmes. Suas habilidades eram sempre requisitadas para as cenas de luta e ação. Os períodos de filmagens permitiam que SiGung Li permanecesse sempre praticando. Isso permitiu que ele pudesse entrar em contato com várias modalidades de artes marciais, como Tae Kwon Do, Kali, Hung Gar e Boxe Tailandês.

Uma participação icônica de SiGung Li Hon Ki foi no Filme ''Ho - O Sujo'', na qual ele finge ser um aleijado lutando com seu cajado, mas durante a luta, surpreende seu adversário mostrando sua perna verdadeira. Um clássico filme de Kung fu!

Trajectory



Sigung Li Hon Ki was born on February 2, 1952 in Hong Kong. Son of Li Kan Man and To Sin Mui, his interest in martial arts, as well as his brother Sibaakgung Li Wing Kay, began early. in adolescence.

SiGung Também trabalhou como dublê ao lado de Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Gordon Lo dentre outros grandes nomes dos filmes chineses de ação.

Sigung Li Hon Ki começou a praticar o Wing Chun ainda na década de 60. Ele dividia um quarto em Hong Kong com seu irmão Li Wing Kay e o amigo Tam Chi Cheung, que foi seu apresentador formal para Ho Kam Ming.

Um tempo depois, praticou Wing Chun diretamente na escola de Chung Si Ip Man. Neste período, Ip Man apenas supervisionava a escola. Mesmo assim, durante muitos anos, SiGung sempre relembrava com carinho de seu período na escola de Ip Man.

Logo após o falecimento de Chung Si Ip Man, SiGung Li Hon Ki praticou com vários outros professores como Koo Sang, Ng Chan, Nge Ken Poo, concluindo o sistema com esses e os outros mestres.

No fim da década de 70, chega ao Brasil e começa a lecionar, abrindo sua primeira academia em São Paulo. Seus primeiros discípulos nessa época foram; Claudio Ramires Vasques, Leo Imamura, Newton Filizola entre outros.

Sigung also worked as a stuntman alongside Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Gordon Lo among other greats of Chinese action films.Sigung Li Hon Ki began practicing Wing Chun still in the 60s he shared a room in Hong Kong with his brother Li Wing Kay and his friend Tam Chi Cheung, who was his formal host to Ho Kam Ming.A while later, he practiced Wing Chun directly to the school of Chung Si Ip Man. Durante os anos 80, sua escola cresceu vertiginosamente, tanto em números de alunos quanto na qualidade técnica. Ficou conhecido por ter a escola de kung fu mais preparada para o combate, onde muitos se sagraram campeão pela sua academia. Consolidando sua arte marcial como uma das mais fortes em todo o Brasil.

No início dos anos 90 Sigung Li Hon Ki já era figura célebre no meio das artes marciais chinesas.  Suas constantes viagens para os Estados Unidos, junto com seu irmão Albert Li fizeram com que ele realizasse inúmeras demonstrações de sua arte marcial naquele país. A essa altura, ele já era reconhecido como o primeiro mestre de Wing Chun pela Hong Kong Ving Tsun athletic association e pela Yip Man Martial Arts institute residente na américa latina. 

Em 1992 foi apresentado ao seu derradeiro SiFu, Duncan Shiu Hung Leung ( Duncan Leung) por seu irmão Albert Li durante uma de suas viagens aos Estados Unidos. Tornou-se discípulo de Duncan Leung e aperfeiçoou seu Wing Chun treinando por mais de 10 horas por dia, residindo na própria residência de Sitaaigung Duncan. Atuou como instrutor assistente de sua escola em Virgínia Beach sendo membro vitalício da Duncan Leung Wing Chun Academy.

Promoveu no Brasil por mais de 20 anos o Applied Wing Chun -  denominação da linhagem de mestre Duncan Leung, até pouco tempo antes de seu falecimento e formou a primeira geração de mestres não-orientais no Wing Chun, como Marcelo Florentino, Claudio Rangel, Alberto França, Eddie Freire, Marcos de Abreu, Paulo Jr, Cleber Domingues,  Hudson William dentre outros nomes no Brasil e em outros países.

Sigung Li Hon Ki ficou conhecido mundialmente pelo seu alto grau na aplicação das técnicas de vários sistemas de arte marcial em combate livre e em competições e seu profundo conhecimento da arte. Era famosíssimo por ter chutes tão poderosos que quebravam tacos de baseboll!!  Desde a década de 70, venceu vários torneios e seus trabalhos frequentemente eram temas de estudo e reportagem. Foi destaques nas conceituadas revistas Legends of Wing Chun, Kiai, Sports Combat, dentre muitas outras publicações.

Em 1996 escreve seu livro ''Ving Tsun Kung Fu'' , que auxiliou a muitos praticantes do sistema Wing Chun a entender sua teoria inerente. O Livro hoje é um clássico e dificílimo de se achar. Nem mesmo em sebos você terá facilidade de encontrar, caso queira!

Também gravou um (na época) VHS especial, ''Ving Tsun Kung Fu'', no qual mostra as principais técnicas do sistema Wing Chun. Este VHS é interessantíssimo, pois mostra técnicas, a história do sistema Wing Chun, o cerimonial Bai Si, dentre outros temas. Em 2010 foi convidado por Sitaaigung Duncan para supervisionar a unidade de ensino do Applied Wing Chun em Pequim - China. Também lecionou Wing Chun pelo programa de treinamento universitário patrocinado pelo governo chinês.

Also recorded a (at the time) special VHS, '' Ving Tsun Kung Fu ', which shows the main techniques of Wing Chun system. This VHS is interesting because it shows techniques, the history of the Wing Chun system, the ceremonial Bai Si, among other topics. Li Hon Ki nos últimos anos atuava, ainda que discretamente em suas famílias Kung Fu no Wing Chun e no Hung Gar. E não só; Continuou atuando no Tai Chi, na medicina chinesa e em outras áreas de atividade. Mostrando um espírito forte, como sempre foi,  continuou suas atividades até o fim, não se retirando de todo das atividades, como costumeiramente acontece com mestres que possuem uma longevidade grande nas artes marciais, mas ele continuou atuando mesmo enfrentando uma doença. Trabalhou ininterruptamente pelo Kung Fu.

Ano passado, Sigung Li Hon Ki fez uma visita á SiFu em sua escola em Salvador, onde  conversou por longas horas com SiFu e pôde acompanhar de perto como estava e está sendo feito o trabalho desenvolvido pela Brazilian Wing Chun Academy. SiFu conta que foi um momento especial, pois mesmo tendo concluído todo o sistema com Sigung e este dando autorização formal para que SiFu prosseguisse seus estudos com outros membros da família internacional, indo em 2009 pra china com sua benção, SiFu o tinha por grande estima, como não poderia deixar de ser.

Como estudante de sua família, me sinto um tanto frustrado por não tê-lo conhecido pessoalmente. Uma das vezes em que SiGung estava de visita marcada á Salvador, eu tentei de tudo para viajar coincidindo as datas para que pudesse encontra-lo e não consegui. Mas vez por outra, durante meus treinamentos, SiFu sempre me contava alguma história sobre seus feitos, ou alguma estória mais engraçada, e eu sempre notava um respeito e uma admiração muito grande nas palavras de SiFu.

 Meu Si-Dai Fábio postou em meu facebook uma estória bem engraçada de um jovem que estava fazendo tratamento com SiGung para parar de fumar e ao terminar a sua sessão, SiGung puxa um cigarro e começa a fumar...questionado pelo seu paciente , a resposta espirituosa de SiGung foi;

- ''Quem quer parar de fumar é você, não eu...''

Isso porque um grande homem, com tantas histórias e um legado indubitável como foi SiGung Li Hon Ki, fica difícil de ser colocado em um texto simples como este e acredito, outros também não o conseguirão.  Confesso que não sei como terminar esse artigo e acredito que muitos que escreveram sobre ele nas ultimas semanas também se sentiram assim. Mas uma coisa é certa; Seu legado continuará tão forte quanto o foi em vida.


Que SiGung descanse em Paz.

Charlatanismo no WIng Chun; MES.Po.NEs e M.O.S. revoltadinhos!! Quackery in Wing Chun; Masters of Shits disgusted !!!

A ultima matéria provocou reações no mínimo ''acaloradas'' por parte de alguns da comunidade do wing chun nacional e de alguns muitos praticantes que se ofenderam com o que foi dito aqui. Os mais ''bravinhos'', por algum motivo ou outro, se encaixavam direitinho naquilo que eu havia descrito, essa é a realidade.  ''I don't care'', como dizia Joey Ramone...Então, além de focar em alguns outros aspectos que não ficaram claros, vou exemplificando com alguns casos e causos mais comuns, como alguns desses MES.PO.NES ( Mestres de porra nenhuma) e M.O.S. ( Masters of Shit!)  se comportam e como tentaram (tentaram...tsc, tsc,tsc)  retaliar minha matéria. Sério...alguns dos comentários eram ridículos, tentavam dizer que nos tornaríamos ''aquilo que tememos!'', ou que ''tudo o que falo aqui no blog em matérias técnicas eram tirados ''não eram os conceitos corretos do tradicional Wing Chun de Ip Man'', ou que eu não tinha nenhuma ''qualificação para lecionar ou opinar '',  dando a entender até que eu me auto titulava SiFu (!!!).


The last article provoked reactions at least '' heated '' by some of the national wing chun community and some many practitioners who were offended by what was said here. The most angry for some reason or other, are straight fit what I had described, that is the reality. '' I do not care '' as saying Joey Ramone ... So in addition to focusing on some other aspects that were not clear, I will exemplify with some common cases and stories, as some of these MES.PO.NES ( translated as ''fucking fake másters'') and M.O.S. (Masters of Shit!) Behave and how they tried (tried ... tsk, tsk, tsk) retaliate my story. Seriously ... some of the comments were ridiculous, tried to say that we would become '' what we fear! '' Or '' all that talk on the blog on technical matters were taken '' were not the correct concepts of traditional Wing Chun Ip Man ', or that I had no' qualification to teach or give an opinion '', implying until I self headlined SiFu (!!!).

Apenas pra deixar claro;

1) Quando escrevo aqui sobre minha opinião pessoal, não falo em nome de minha família kung fu nem de meu clã, nem em nome de meu SiFu, muito menos como representante de ninguém e menos ainda como líder e um grupo de treino ou núcleo. Falo como praticante de arte marcial que rala duro pra poder se manter treinando e treinado! Sou eu quem escreve aqui e as opiniões são minhas, como sempre deixo claro e não volto atrás de nada após publicado, errando ou não. Se eu errar ,ou as circunstâncias mudarem no futuro, ok, uma retratação é minha prova de hombridade e quem volta atrás após um erro cometido, não há desonra nisso. Do contrário, a opinião seguirá a mesma!

2) Minha genealogia é facilmente verificável. Não ''tememos virar aquilo que acusamos'' pelo simples fato de que não devemos nada a absolutamente ninguém! Nunca me auto-titulei SiFu, mestre, professor ou mesmo instrutor. Sempre deixo claro para aqueles que vem estudar comigo em que nível estou, como se dá meu trabalho e como conduzo meu grupo de estudos e como  meu SiFu nos acompanha sempre. Portanto, sem essa, ok? As pessoas que me chamam de professor, SiFu ou algo do tipo, o fazem porque reconhecem isso, mesmo que eu gentilmente as corrija. Escrevi vários artigos aqui sobre isso e basta que você procure nos arquivos do blog o que penso e como ajo á respeito.

Just to make it clear;1) When I write here about my personal opinion, I do not speak on behalf of my kung fu family or my clan, or on behalf of my SiFu, much less as a representative of anyone and even less as a leader and a training group or core. I speak as a martial arts practitioner thin hard to be able to keep training and trained! I who write here and the opinions are mine, as always leave clear and not turn back anything after posted, missing or not. Sendo assim, fica claro o reflexo do tipo de pensamento que permeia a sociedade em geral e que no meio marcial, também existe; Quando não se tem argumentos, os culpados partem para a agressão verbal. Acusam os outros daquilo que eles mesmo são...Não perceberam no entanto, que quanto mais tentam rebater, mais feio ficava para eles mesmos.

Então, algumas respostas vou dando ao longo dessa segunda parte, tentando mostrar como é o tipo de pensamento do cara que é - ou em tese tenta ser - o  ''profissional MeS.Po.Ne''. Todos facilmente encontrados nas redes sociais ( Facebook, twiter, instagram e o finado Orkut).

Wing Chun é o estilo que no Brasil,detém o recorde de charlatanismo e de longe supera outros estilos de kung fu nesse quesito. Isso vem desde a década de 70, logo quando foi introduzido no Brasil ( existem divergências até mesmo nesse ponto!) e hoje em dia, as condições para se identificar um mentiroso mudaram completamente, como explanado anteriormente. Deixemos os casos mais ridículos de lado; Todos sabemos que um '' Wander Lee - Só o espírito, presençaaa!!!'' ou um SIMFUJE da vida não fazem mal a ninguém,  apesar do potencial insano e ao risco que promovem aos seus também insanos seguidores, mas existem casos realmente bem mais preocupantes...vamos á eles, mas antes, veremos alguns panoramas que não ficaram bem claros na ultima matéria...Alguns casos sugerem um ''charlatanismo latente'', outros ainda não. Vejamos;

Case study

Vendas de certificado

Primeiro de tudo que hoje em dia, um tipo mais sutil de charlatão tem agido; O cara que eu chamo de ''Profissional MES.PO.NE.'' Esse tipo de charlatão é o mais difícil de se identificar; È o cara que está ligado á alguma instituição, agremiação ou associação mais séria, idônea, ou mesmo uma organização fajuta mas que antes em algum momento do tempo, foi ligada á uma mais séria, que usa a ''bandeira'' para vender certificados. Ou a sua própria instituição é conhecida.  Exemplo; Um encontro há alguns anos atrás em Fortaleza de uma determinada linhagem/organização - que tanto eu quanto meu SiFu denunciamos aqui no blog e no blog de meu SiFu - ficou bastante conhecido por causa dos montantes de dinheiro passados ás mãos dos ''mestres'' por debaixo da mesa, literalmente!  Dvd's e certificados de instrutor eram repassados em troca.
 Certificados esses que tinham ''taxa de manutenção'' periódica, claro! A história é bem conhecida e o líder dessa organização, mesmo tendo seu passado ligado á mestres conceituados e legítimos, foi desmentido publicamente e hoje, é 'persona non grata' na comunidade wing chun internacional. Ainda assim, alguns ainda o seguem.
Existem ainda casos de vendas de certificados pela internet. Sim! Dvd's e certificados via internet!

First of all, today a more subtle kind of charlatan has acted; The guy I call the '' Professional MES.PO.NE. '' This kind of charlatan is the most difficult to identify; It is the guy who is connected to the any institution, college or more serious association, reputable, or even a bogus organization but rather at some point of time, was linked to a more serious, using the '' flag '' to sell certificates . Or your own institution is known. Example; A meeting a few years ago in Fortaleza of a particular lineage / organization - which both I and my SiFu denounced here on the blog and the blog of my SiFu - became well known because of the amounts of money spent at the hands of '' master '' under the table, literally! DVDs and instructor certificates were transferred in return.Certificates those who had 'maintenance fee' periodic, of course! The story is well known and the leader of this organization, even though his past connected to the reputable and legitimate masters, was denied publicly and today is 'persona non grata' in wing chun international community. Alunos e Ex-Alunos

Posso dar um exemplo que aconteceu comigo mesmo; Um ex-aluno meu, após ter sido expulso de meu grupo de estudos por conduta inadequada, começou seu próprio grupo de estudos. Ele persuadiu o dono do antigo local onde eu mantinha meus treinamentos e com a promessa de angariar o dobro de alunos e gerar ''receita para a academia'', e me dispensar, colocando ele mesmo como novo instrutor do local. O dono ( que também mais tarde descobri, havia ligação com pessoas que vendiam certificados de outras modalidades, incluindo ai, Kickboxe, Wing Chun, Muay Thay MMA etc...) caiu no conto, obviamente atraído pela grana, mas como esse ex-aluno não tem capacidade técnica e muito menos competência para manter uma escola e ''dar aulas'', passou a frequentar diversas academias de wing chun, até que conseguiu comprar um certificado de algum praticante antigo de outra linhagem. Não preciso dizer que mesmo comprando uma ''certificação'' seja lá do que for, o grupo de estudos não foi adiante. O aviso foi dado e anos depois, o dono do local se retratou comigo.

Analisando;

O que eles não entendem é que não importa quantos certificados - fajutos ou não - um professor, SiFu, líder de grupos de estudos, o que raios for - possa ter. Mas importa a coerência do conteúdo e se o líder tem entendimento profundo, em todos os aspectos, daquilo que ele alega conhecer e ensinar. O que caracteriza nos dois casos o charlatanismo é;  No primeiro, o sujeito se dizia, além de tudo ''descobridor de uma  linhagem'' , sendo na verdade uma criação nova e usava disso para fazer gerar grana. Foi desmentido vergonhosamente!  No segundo caso, uma pessoa sem o mínimo preparo se auto titulava qualificado ou com histórico o suficiente para ser um professor, sem sequer ser um iniciante e fazer gerar dinheiro...Ficou claro ai?

Students and Ex-studets

I can give an example that happened to myself; A former student of mine, after being kicked out of my study group for misconduct, began its own study group. He persuaded the former site of the owner where I kept my training and with the promise to raise double the students and generate 'revenues to the gym' 'and dismiss me, placing himself as the new trainer of the site. The owner (who also later discovered, had connection with people selling certificates from other modalities, including ai, Kickboxing, Wing Chun, Muay Thay MMA etc ...) fell in the story, obviously attracted by the money, but as this ex- student does not have the technical capacity and less power to maintain a school and '' teaching '', he went on to attend various academies of wing chun, until he could buy a certificate of some old practitioner from another lineage. Needless to say that even buying a '' certification '' is there than for the study group was not on. The warning was given and years later, the site owner recanted me.What they do not understand is that no matter how many certificates - bogus or not - a teacher, SiFu, leading study groups, what the hell is - may have. But regardless of the consistency of content and the leader has deep understanding in all aspects of what he claims to know and teach. What characterizes the two cases is quackery; In the first, the subject was said, and all '' discoverer of a line '', being actually a new creation, and used it to generate money. It was denied shamelessly! In the second case, a person without the slightest preparation self headlined qualified or historic enough to be a teacher, without even being a beginner and do create money ... It was clear there?

Histórias mal contadas

Imagine dois mestres de wing chun ( ou qualquer outro estilo) que  moram na mesma cidade, um na zona sul, outro na zona norte; São idosos e entram constantemente em discussão pra provar ''quem ensinou a quem'' e em nenhum dos casos, se pode verificar de onde  o conhecimento - que supostamente e presumivelmente é o mesmo - vem. E pior, ambos os conteúdos, métodos, graduações, etc. são completamente distintos um do outro. O que você diria?
Apesar de essa ser  uma suposição, como colocado aqui, isso acontece com frequência. Afora o fato de que alguns mestres ''pincelam'' seu conhecimento aqui e ali com vários outros mestres renomados, sem manter nenhum tipo de vinculo SiFu-Todai, isso ainda não caracteriza charlatanismo, de todo, se eles não esconderem as ''fontes'' de seus conhecimentos e falarem abertamente sobre isso. Ai segue o cara quem quiser seguir.

O charlatanismo aparece nesse tipo de caso quando há uma rixa entre esses dois professores e ambos escondem seu passado, quem foram seus professores ou ainda se suas escolas funcionam como ''franquias''. Ou se um diz que ensinou o outro e esse outro discorda, alegando o contrário e ambos possuem ''genealogias'' completamente diferentes e distintas, não sendo de uma ''mesma família'' e ambos possuem escolas 'concorrentes', se for tudo isso junto, ai você pode até selar com o padrão Finjutsu de má qualidade,embora, vá precisar pesquisar um pouco mais...

Badly told stories

Imagine two masters of wing chun (or any other style) living in the same city, in the south, the other in the north; They are elderly and are continually coming in discussion to prove '' who taught whom '' and in any case, you can check where the knowledge - that supposedly and presumably is the same - comes. Quando a técnica atrapalha

Existe o famoso caso do mestre que tem uma linhagem dita ''não-Ip Man'' que quando questionado publicamente nos fóruns de Wing Chun na internet, não respondeu as indagações das pessoas, sempre se esquivando, errando termos mais comuns e deixando claro  sua falta de conhecimento. O coroa posta vídeos com toda sua pompa alá Steven Seagel do Wing Chun, com seus longos cabelos grisalhos e até o óculos escuro, mas com um Chi Sau terrível, sem nenhuma firmeza na base nem nenhuma competência mais técnica aparente. Neste caso e em alguns outros, a técnica não mente! Finjutsu detectado!

When the technique disrupts

Famílias rachadas

Esse é um caso que requer maior atenção. Como falamos na ultima postagem, dissidências são ''fenômenos'' causados pelo rompimento de um determinado mestre com uma organização, ou com seu SiFu, com apenas um desses - organização ou mestre - ou com ambos, e este, segue com sua família um trabalho independente, o que não significa um rompimento de linhagem. Linhagem é uma coisa, filiação á alguma organização é outra completamente diferente! Pode ser que um mestre rompa com determinada família e se optar por não seguir nenhum outro mestre, numa mudança de linhagem, apesar de não usar as bandeiras de determinada família, poderá transmitir seus conhecimentos sem nenhum problema. Essa ''não-mudança'' de mestre, pode indicar duas coisas;

a) Que o mestre local preferiu se afastar da organização continua sendo discípulo do mestre original.

Ou;

 b) Total rompimento com o mestre e a organização original e enfoque na própria família.

Families split

This is a case that requires more attention. As we said in the last post, dissents are 'phenomena' caused by the rupture of a particular master with an organization, or your SiFu, with only one of these - organization or teacher - or both, and this follows with his family a independent work, which does not mean a pedigree break. Lineage is one thing, membership will some organization is quite another! It may be a break master with particular family and if you choose not to follow any other master, a change of lineage, although not using the particular family of banners, can transmit their knowledge without any problem. This' no-change '' master, may indicate two things;

a) the local master chose to depart the organization remains a disciple of the original master.
Or;
b) Total break with the master and the original organization and focus on the family itself.
O problema acontece quando aparece algum ''novo'' representante da família, um pretenso novato mais ''ambicioso'', ligado de alguma maneira á organização original ( na maioria dos casos, alguém que já foi aluno de alguém enquanto o mestre local estava ligado a organização original antes de seu desligamento, ou um substituto escolhido por votação, ou o que seja), tenta esconder seu passado ( atitude essa bem comum não é?) ao mesmo tempo em que desqualifica as atuais dissidências, seja de forma pública ou nos ''bastidores''. Ou mesmo que não esconda seu passado, mas tenta desqualificar seus antigos sêniors. Ou quando a dissidência entra em algum tipo de conflito por causa do novo representante, por exemplo, por domínio territorial ou o que seja.  Todos esses fatores estão explanados na postagem anterior no parágrafo 'dissidências'. Se você se perdeu neste parágrafo, volte lá e leia novamente.

Mas o efeito que isso gera é uma ''rachadura'' no clã. Alguns vão tomar partido e outros não. Alguns ainda viram dissidências de dissidências, mas em nenhum dos casos, a menos que haja fatos não verificáveis ou que nenhuma das partes se reconheçam, negando qualquer tipo de envolvimento em algum momento histórico, não é o caso de charlatanismo e a integralidade da linhagem ainda é plausível. Se nenhuma das duas partes se atacarem mutuamente, ou veladamente, como é a maioria dos casos, tudo bem. O problema é quando ambos os lados tentam convencer o público de sua ''verdade evangelizadora''. Ai fica claro que pouco importa o estilo; O que existe é uma disputa pelo monopólio mercadológico!

Existem casos de  mestres que mudaram inclusive as organizações e federações em sí, partindo a família na ''nova federação'' enquanto outra parte ficou na ''antiga federação''. O mestre central ai foi o próprio responsável - por algum motivo - pela rachadura na própria família. Especulo que por algum motivo mercadológico...como na maioria das vezes sempre é!

Mudança de família Kung Fu

Mudar de linhagem ou família Kung Fu não é nenhum problema. Aliás, qualquer coisa, que seja feita com total transparência, não é problema nenhum. Eu mesmo já mudei uma vez. Muitos mestres por ai já mudaram inúmeras vezes! Quando alguém não está satisfeito com a família kung fu, quando acha que o estilo não combina, ou quando existem outros fatores que façam com que seja mais vantajoso pra pessoa mudar de família, ok, no problem.

O problema é saber quais os motivos que levaram  que determinada pessoa mudasse de família kung fu. Provavelmente alguma história mal contada existirá e ai, é bom ficar de olho...

È importante sempre lembrarmos que estamos falando de conhecimento. Sendo assim, é preciso lembrar que você é dono de seu próprio conhecimento e não serão terceiros que vão fazer você perder esse conhecimento. Eu costumo dizer que ''Não existe DONO do Wing Chun '', e isso já diz muita coisa!
A grande questão ai é que muitas pessoas, independente se já são praticantes, ou se pretendem ser praticantes de wing chun, tem muitas informações á mão. No entanto, a guerra pelo ''meu wing chun é autêntico, puro, e bla bla bla e o seu não é '' é tanta, que se eu focar nesse ponto, a postagem sairá do assunto! Changing to another Kung Fu Family

Instituições governamentais para regulação das artes marciais no Brasil; De que lado está o charlatão?

Esse subtítulo bem poderia ser um tema para uma futura postagem. O caso é que algumas pessoas, tentando mamar nas tetas do governo, se utilizam do fato de que o ensino de artes marciais no Brasil só é regulamentado por meio das associações e federações - instituições sem nenhum vínculo governamental e competentes o suficiente para regularizar o ensino especializado que uma arte marcial requer - e tentam á todo custo empurrar para os leigos que somente profissionais da área de Educação física ligados aos CREF possam lecionar artes marciais. Obviamente visando monopólio e gerar dinheiro através de leis de incentivo e coisas do tipo. As federações regionais, federações internacionais, nacionais, associações regulares  estão ai para se valerem de seus estatutos e fazer se regulamentar a prática e o ensino de uma arte tradicional, o que na minha opinião, não tem absolutamente nada a ver com CREF ou com regulamentação qualquer por parte do governo.

 Em um caso recente num determinado estado, um suposto líder de família kung fu procurou uma prefeitura se passando por membro de uma federação regional de determinado estilo, para ''negociar'' porcentagens e valores para ''apoio'' através de leis de incentivo. O fato de vez por outra abordarmos esse assunto aqui é que como eu estava conversando com meus alunos e como já conversei com os membros de minha família kung fu; È extremamente injusto que você gaste uma grana para treinar, viajar, fazer sacrifícios pessoais, treinar duro, sofrer, sentir dores nos treinos, fazer combate, apanhar, aprender da forma mais dura possível, pra chegar um cara gordo, despreparado, sem nenhum tipo de qualificação, ou um maluco qualquer - literalmente, em alguns casos - e virar seu concorrente direto. E o pior, o cara ainda tenta posar de bonitão em tudo quanto é lugar...Ahh velho, é revoltante!!! Você acha realmente que alguns caras como esses que se encaixam em pelo menos um ou outro parâmetro aqui descrito tem o porquê de se revoltar por acaso?? Vão procurar o que fazer rapá!!


SiFu sempre me disse que kung fu é - ''para raio de maluco'' e no wing chun, é o ''estilo que mais reúne lunáticos por metro quadrado''. E realmente é! Provavelmente os leitores dessas duas partes desse mesmo artigo e que presumivelmente sabem melhor do que qualquer um que se encaixam nesses descritos, vão se revoltar. Não é para tanto. As pessoas não se convencem assim tão fácil da honestidade e reputação de outras assim, por causa de um artigo ou dois. O público é quem deve decidir o que é mais adequado, como sempre foi e sempre será. Então, conselho pra você que está procurando um professor de Wing Chun sério; Pesquise, veja o perfil do cara, se pra bem ou pra mal, aquilo combina com o que você está procurando, siga em frente, ou dê um passo atrás. A decisão e as consequências, no fim das contas, serão todas suas.

People are not convinced that easy honesty and reputation of others as well, because of an article or two. The public is who should decide what is most appropriate, as it always was and always will be.
